Iran's state news agency reported on Wednesday that a loud explosion was heard on Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz, with unclear origins. Multiple explosions were also reported in the cities of Sirik and Minab County.
Iran's IRNA reported on Wednesday that a loud explosion was heard on Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz, adding that “it is not yet clear whether the sound originated from the sea or if the explosion occurred within Qeshm”.
Fars news agency also reported the sounds of multiple explosions in the city of Sirik and the area of Minab County.
