Canada condemns Houthi strikes on Maashiq Palace in Aden

17 October 2026 06:11 BST

Canada has condemned the Houthi strikes on Maashiq Palace in Yemen’s Aden, which killed five people and wounded others.

“We offer our condolences to the victims’ families and wish those injured a speedy recovery,” the Canadian embassy in Saudi Arabia said in a post on X.

In a separate post, it called for “an immediate de-escalation of hostilities”.
