• Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran had presented the United States with a “concrete” seven-day plan and that the choice now rested with Washington.

• US President Trump has rejected Iran’s proposal for a seven-day ceasefire and has told aides he expects to resume bombing Iran after the November midterms, The Wall Street Journal reported.

• Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that his country would allow UN nuclear inspectors into the country.

• The Saudi Arabia-led coalition forces in Yemen said its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis towards the kingdom.

• Yemen's government forces say they have made advances in the southern Taiz governorate, taking control of several areas and higher ground, according to Al Jazeera.

• The United Nations human rights office issued a list on Friday adding 61 more companies operating in Israeli-occupied West Bank settlements, which are illegal under international law.

• Deputy prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Nazhat Shameem Khan, has said that the court has insulated itself against potential court-wide sanctions from the US, according to the Financial Times.

• Six Palestinians were arrested by Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

• Forty-one US lawmakers have called on Secretary of State Mark Rubio to press Israel for the release of Palestinian healthcare workers.
