Israeli forces are subjecting the Ali al-Taher forest on the outskirts of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon to intermittent artillery shelling, according to the Lebanese National News Agency. The ridge, located approximately 15 kilometers from the Israeli border, has become one of the most contested areas in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

The Ali al-Taher ridge, about 15km (10 miles) from the Israeli border, has become one of the most contested areas of the war between Israel and Hezbollah.
