A six-year-old Palestinian girl has been killed by Israeli gunfire while sheltering with her family in central Gaza's Deir el-Balah, with medical sources confirming her death from sustained wounds. The ongoing Israeli attacks across Gaza have also claimed additional lives and left several wounded in separate drone strikes and shelling operations.

A six-year-old Palestinian girl has succumbed to wounds sustained in an Israeli attack in central Gaza's Deir el-Balah, Wafa news agency reports, citing medical sources.

According to the sources, Suha Mohammed Nasser was shot by Israeli forces while sheltering with her family in a tent in Wadi al-Salqa, south of Deir al-Balah.

In a separate attack, Saqr al-Qaisi was killed when an Israeli drone struck a vehicle in the city's al-Hawouz area.

Meanwhile, in southern Gaza, Israeli shelling continues to pound Khan Younis's Sheikh Nasser neighbourhood.

Al Jazeera reports that in Gaza City, several people have been wounded in an Israeli drone strike near the Abd al-Rahman School in al-Saftawi in the city's north, while another person was shot in the Tuffah neighbourhood. The Israeli military also conducted demolitions in the city's east.

Israeli military vehicles also opened fire east of al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, and north of Beit Lahiya.
