Israeli troops killed a man in southern Syria on Monday morning as military operations continue across Syrian territory. The incident marks the latest in a series of Israeli incursions and attacks since the fall of the Assad regime in late 2024.
The Israeli army early on Monday killed a man in southern Syria, as it continues to carry out raids in the country.
The army made claims that the individual attempted to enter one of its military posts, when troops opened fire and killed him.
It added that it military operations in the area remain ongoing to "remove any threat" to Israeli citizens and troops.
Israel has repeatedly violated Syrian territory since the fall of the Assad regime in late 2024, with numerous incursions, detentions and attacks taking place in the country.
