President Trump reiterated threats of annihilation against Iran during a meeting with Gulf and Arab leaders at the UN General Assembly, warning that a point will come when it's too late to allow Iran to survive. Trump claimed once again that US forces have completely destroyed Iran's navy, air force, and air defense systems.
Echoing his earlier remarks, the US president once again threatened Iran with annihilation in a meeting with GCC and Arab leaders on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
“We’ve isolated Iran financially and hopefully they’ll do the right thing fast,” he said, warning that “there will be a time when it’s too late, and we won’t have the chance of letting them survive as a nation."
Trump also said, not for the first time, that Iran’s navy has been “eliminated” and all 159 ships were destroyed by the US military, as well as over 90 percent of Iran’s planes, 430 weapon storage facilities and 800 drone storage facilities.
“We annihilated its air defence systems, completely decimated its terrorist leadership and destroyed its economy,” he said.
