Rio de Janeiro has signed a 25-year agreement with an ancient indigenous spirit channeled through a 71-year-old Brazilian medium to help protect the city from climate-related disasters. The unconventional arrangement comes as the metropolis braces for severe weather threats including potential bomb cyclones.
