Iranian National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei dismissed US President Donald Trump's contradictory signals on negotiations, insisting that Tehran will not engage in talks until its conditions are fully met. Rezaei warned that the strategic stakes surrounding oil and regional waterways have fundamentally shifted.
Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said US President Donald Trump was sending “mixed” signals, adding that there could be no talks until Tehran’s conditions were met.
“Don’t get distracted by the U.S. president’s mixed signals—from ‘no negotiations’ to ‘we’re ready to talk,'” he wrote on X. “The stakes around oil and the straits have changed. Damage control won’t stop what’s coming. No talks until Iran’s conditions are met. Period!”
