Iran’s ISNA news agency reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and a delegation will meet with mediators involved in talks with the United States on Monday morning.
The latest proposals and views on the situation will be discussed during the talks, ISNA said.
A Qatari delegation has been in the United States and presented Washington with an Iranian proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for economic relief.
Iran's Tasnim news agency said there were no plans for direct talks between Iranian and US officials.
The meetings come as Washington and Tehran continue to trade proposals over the strategic waterway amid increased tensions.
