Two Palestinians were injured after being assaulted by Israeli forces during a military raid of the town of Awarta, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Wafa news reported on Wednesday.

Wafa reported that Israeli armored vehicles raided the town and fired live ammunition, tear gas canisters, and stun grenades at residents.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that two 24-year-old Palestinians sustained bruises after being beaten by Israeli forces and were taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
