Israeli far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir posted a video threatening to execute Palestinian detainee Hassan Salameh, a senior Hamas leader. Ben Gvir claimed that if appointed defense minister in next month's elections, he would ensure prisoners like Salameh face execution and would pursue immigration policies aimed at expelling Palestinians from Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

The far-right minister captioned the video writing that if he takes up the position of defence minister following elections next month, he will ensure detainees like Salameh are "put to death".
He added that he would also advance immigration policies, which are aimed at driving Palestinians out of Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
