Hegseth kicks off ‘Send Me Tour’ amid Iran war backlash

US Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth has kicked off his ‘Send Me Tour’ in Texas, invoking the biblical words, “Whom shall I send?”, a reference to Isaiah’s declaration, “Here am I. Send me.” The military outreach comes as Hegseth’s net favourability fell to a record low of -24 points amid growing public frustration over the Iran war.
