US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in New York on Wednesday, according to a US State Department statement.

The two discussed potential sanctions that could be levelled against countries that engage economically with Russia and Iran, the statement said.
