A top Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander declared that US forces have withdrawn over 1,000 kilometers from Iran's borders, attributing this to Iranian authority. He claimed American vessels are absent from the Persian Gulf and surrounding waters for the first time, stating they are now completely vulnerable to Iranian attacks.

A top Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander said that the US army has moved 1,000km away from Iran's borders.

"The Americans fled and moved more than 1,000km away from our borders. This was not their choice; it was due to the authority of the Islamic Republic and the authority of the IRGC Ground Force," Ali Fadavi said in a televised interview.

He added that, for the first time, Washington's vessels were not present in the Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, the Sea of Oman or the northern Indian Ocean, saying that American warships are "100 percent vulnerable" to IRGC attacks.

Fadavi also stressed that the Strait of Hormuz remained under Tehran’s control, and said that the IRGC Navy warned ships using the US-supervised southern route in the waterway that "their vessels may be targeted at any point".

Only three to four million barrels of oil per day are now moving through the route, he claimed, dismissing the amount as "negligible" in contrast to pre-war traffic.
