Iran has submitted to the International Maritime Organisation a dossier of documents and photographic evidence of sabotage against its maritime infrastructure, which it attributes to the United States and Israel. The IMO's member states are set to discuss the evidence at a council session in London in early November.
Iran said it has submitted evidence of US and Israeli attacks on its maritime infrastructure to the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).
The dossier of evidence given by Tehran to the IMO includes documents and photographic evidence of sabotage on its maritime infrastructure.
An Iranian official said IMO member states will discuss the evidence at a council session taking place in London on 2-6 November.
The attacks on its maritime infrastructure, according to Iran, threaten the safety of international shipping and seafarers.
Iran's IRNA news agency reported that damage to maritime traffic control systems also increases the risk of accidents, and the destruction of rescue facilities undermines emergency response capabilities.
