An Austrian Airlines flight from Tel Aviv made an emergency landing in Bulgarian capital Sofia after a threat was made against the aircraft, according to Reuters citing an airline spokesperson.
The plane, carrying 57 people, was heading from Tel Aviv to Vienna. It landed safely at 6.42 pm GMT on Sunday.
The airline indicated that Airbus A320 AIR.PA is being searched, and passengers will be rebooked onto an alternative flight once that is complete.

"During the flight, on the border with Romania, the crew reported a bomb threat signal and decided to land in Sofia extraordinarily," the ministry said.
