Sundance Growth has raised a quick successor to its debut fund, overcoming a difficult market for recently established private-equity managers and particularly for those focused on the software sector.
The fund
The firm closed the vehicle, Sundance Growth Fund II, at $250 million, which was both its target and upper limit, said Christian Stewart, Sundance Growth’s founder. He started the firm last year, after about eight years of investing for Accel-KKR, one of the best-known software-focused alternative-assets managers.
