A US official told Reuters that US forces have struck multiple IRGC-linked Iranian tankers, saying the move was carried out in response to more attempted missile attacks on a US Navy warship.

This comes after Iranian media reported attacks on two tankers near Jask and Kharg Island on Tuesday.
