US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline will resume operations soon after being shut down following an attack. Wright noted that energy infrastructure regularly faces such strikes, particularly from Iran, which has demonstrated its ability to restore damaged facilities in the past.
Saudi Arabia’s East-West oil pipeline is expected to resume operations "soon" after it was shut down following a strike, US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said Monday.
“I think you'll see the pipeline back running very soon,” Wright told Bloomberg.
“This is not new for strikes on this energy infrastructure. And, of course, unfortunately, Iran's done a ton of that, but they've proven resourceful in the past," he said.
