The Democratic Republic of Congo continues battling a devastating Ebola outbreak that has claimed over 2,400 lives among more than 5,500 recorded cases. Alarmed by the prospect of the virus reaching the capital Kinshasa, authorities have intensified patrols along the Congo River in a bid to contain the epidemic's spread.
