Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Tuesday that the perpetrators of hybrid attacks against Germany, such as an explosive drone found at an airport, "will pay for them," without naming a target. NATO member Germany – a major supporter of Ukraine in its fight against Russia – has long accused Moscow of targeting it with a campaign of hybrid attacks, espionage and sabotage.
