US Vice President JD Vance said he will not get involved in Israeli elections, stressing that his focus is on America's midterm races. His remarks come after President Donald Trump declared his complete and total endorsement of Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of the 27 October vote.
Speaking to US journalist Mark Halperin, US Vice President JD Vance said that he will not be getting involved in Israeli elections when asked whether he would follow Donald Trump's endorsement of Benjamin Netanyahu.
"I endorse American candidates, and that’s what I’m focused on, is the midterm. So I’m not getting involved in Israeli elections," he said.
On Sunday, US President Donald Trump declared his "complete and total endorsement" of the Israeli prime minister, ahead of the 27 October elections.
