Britain's Minister of State for the Middle East condemned the latest Houthi attacks on Yemen's Taiz region in Saudi-controlled areas and threats against civilians. The UK reaffirmed its support for the internationally recognised Yemeni government in achieving lasting peace.
The United Kingdom condemns the latest Houthi attacks in Saudi Arabia's Taiz region and threat to civilians, said Stephen Doughty, the minister of state for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
In a post on X, Doughty said: "Houthi violence has reignited Yemen's conflict, driving tragic loss of life, displacement and suffering."
"The UK stands with the internationally recognised Government of Yemen to secure lasting peace," he added.
