A senior Iranian military commander said Tehran will continue striking vessels in the Strait of Hormuz if provoked. The deputy army coordinator stressed that Iran possesses both specific and general capabilities to respond to any aggression.
Iranian forces will continue to strike vessels in the Strait of Hormuz “if necessary”, senior Iranian military commander and deputy army coordinator Habibollah Sayyari said on Sunday.
“We have dealt blows to enemy vessels, and if something happens against Iran again, we will strike at them. We are not tied, and we have facilities and capabilities that are specific and general in the world,” he said in comments carried by Iranian media.
