Israeli forces conducted multiple airstrikes on southern Lebanon, targeting the town of Mansouri and areas near the coastal city of Tyre, according to Lebanon's National News Agency. The raids came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed his forces destroyed a Hezbollah underground facility near Nabatieh containing weapons and military infrastructure.
Israeli forces carried out several air raids on southern Lebanon, targeting Mansouri and areas near the coastal city of Tyre, Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported.
The attacks on Mansouri targeted “infrastructure and residential neighbourhoods”, while another air raid south of Tyre also struck residential areas, according to the state news agency.
NNA also reported that Israeli forces fired artillery near the southern Lebanese town of Meiss Ej Jabal.
The reported attacks came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israeli forces had destroyed what he described as a Hezbollah underground facility near Nabatieh, claiming the site contained weapons and military infrastructure.
