Brazil’s Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva sent a thinly veiled message to Donald Trump in a speech at the United Nations, warning foreign countries to stay out of October’s presidential election.

Speaking just before the US president at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, the leftist leader insisted that Brazil “will not allow the enemies of democracy, whether domestic or foreign, to undermine popular will.”
