Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi is expected to visit Tehran on Tuesday as Iran and Muscat continue talks over the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz. Iran's Foreign Ministry described the visit as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation and political consultations aimed at promoting regional peace and stability.
Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi is expected to visit Tehran on Tuesday amid ongoing talks between Iran and Muscat over the Strait of Hormuz, the Iranian foreign ministry indicated on Monday.
"This trip is in line with strengthening Iran-Oman bilateral cooperation and continuing sustained political consultations between the two sides as littoral states of the Strait of Hormuz, to help bolster peace and stability in the region," the ministry's spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said.
