Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed regional developments and recent attacks on Saudi Arabia in a phone call with Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, according to Turkish diplomatic sources. The call comes a month after Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan signed a joint defense agreement featuring a mutual defense clause similar to NATO's Article 5.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed regional developments and recent attacks targeting Saudi Arabia in a call with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, a Turkish diplomatic source said on Friday.

Last month, Nato member Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signed a joint defence agreement that includes a mutual defence clause similar to Nato's Article 5.
