Napoli announced that Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay will undergo a minor heart procedure to treat a mild benign arrhythmia discovered during Sunday's match. The 29-year-old is expected to miss Scotland's opening Nations League fixtures under new head coach Sebastien Pocognoli.

The 29-year-old was subsituted after 56 minutes of Sunday's 2-1 Serie A defeat by Como and will have corrective treatment "in the coming days".
Napoli expect him to return to playing after the international break in early October and McTominay himself posted on Instagram: "See you soon Napoli. I won't take long."
However, it means he is likely to miss Sebastien Pocognoli's first four games as Scotland head coach, against Slovenia (home and away), North Macedonia and Switzerland in the Nations League.
According to the NHS,, external an arrhythmia is when the heart beats too quickly or too slowly, or the heartbeat is not steady.
