US President Donald Trump stated that he requested South Korea's participation in American efforts to strip Iran of its nuclear weapons, but received an outright rejection. Trump dismissed the South Korean response as simply "No thanks" in a post on his Truth Social platform.
US President Donald Trump said he had asked his South Korean counterpart whether Seoul wanted to join US efforts to disarm Iran of its nuclear weapons but received a negative response.
"While somewhat unrelated (?), I recently asked the President of South Korea if they would like to join us in the Denuclearization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and they said, 'No thanks!'" Trump said in a post on his Truth Social site.
