Tehran says it has allowed a number of Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran's state news agency IRNA reported that Iraqi parliament speaker Haibat al-Halbousi asked his Iranian counterpart, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, for permission while the latter was visiting the country.
