Explosions in the southern countryside of Aleppo have resulted in several injuries, according to Syria's state news agency SANA. Civil defense operations in the area reported ongoing blasts in al-Eis that hindered the arrival of ambulance and rescue teams to the site.

He also warned civilians against approaching the area.
Aleppo's Internal Security Command said that roads leading to the site of the blasts were closed "to ensure the safety of civilians".
Meanwhile, Aleppo governor Azzam al-Gharib urged residents not to leave their homes for the time being, adding that "hospitals, ambulance and emergency teams are on full alert".
