Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has said Israel should not offer Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman anything unless he reciprocates. He described Israel's current practice of giving him concessions as a mistake and demanded that bin Salman show respect if he wants Israeli help.
In an interview broadcast on Monday, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said Israel should not give Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman anything until he gives something in return.
"I think we are giving him things; I do not want to elaborate on that. In my view, this is a mistake," Smotrich said.
"I demand that bin Salman respect me if he wants me to help him. I am absolutely not willing to have bin Salman stand against us time after time, spit on us, and then expect us to continue giving him things," he added.
