Blue Energy Global Inc. has begun an application to install a small reactor at a Texas power plant it’s developing to supply a Crusoe Inc. data center, which will initially run on natural gas before adding nuclear power.
The company said it had submitted the first part of its application for a construction permit to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. A second portion is expected to follow in the second half of 2027, it said in a statement.
