Yemeni forces say they recaptured positions from Houthis in Taiz

Yemen’s armed forces are claiming to have recovered sites in the Taiz Governorate that were captured by the Houthis.
The armed forces said in a statement on X that they had “recaptured positions overlooking the Jardad area in Ash-Shamayatayn” and advanced towards the Ghail Bani Umar area as part of ongoing operations aimed at expelling the Houthis from the governorate.
