Three international human rights organizations have confirmed that Israeli forces deliberately targeted Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil, 42, and her camera operator during an April attack that killed Khalil and wounded her colleague. The United Nations has stated that deliberate attacks on civilians constitute war crimes under international law.

Three rights groups have released findings of a probe into the Israeli attack which killed Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil in April. The investigation by Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and The Legal Agenda shows Israel deliberately targeted the 42-year-old and her camerawoman, who was wounded in the attack.
